Tandoori Pomfret – Try this starter and you will never regret!
Tandoori Pomfret is a sumptuous starter where the whole pomfret is marinated and cooked in less than an hour.
Ingredients:-
- 1 pomfret fish
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/3 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- salt
- oil
Method:-
- Marinate the fish with salt and lime juice for 1/2 hour by making slits on the fish.
- Mix ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, chilli, coriander and cumin powder, 2 tbsp oil and apply this paste to the fish and leave it aside for 30 minutes in a freezer.
- Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan and cook both sides for 5 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve Tandoori Pomfret hot with salad and chutney.
