Sauteed Chicken With Spinach Is Captivating
Sauteed Chicken With Spinach is a sumptuous recipe with mustard sauce adding the necessary tanginess to the spinach and chicken.
Ingredients :-
- 1 tsp white-wine vinegar
- 1 boneless chicken breast half
- Coarse salt
- Ground pepper
- 4 cups baby spinach
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp minced shallot
- 1/2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
Method :-
- Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium flame. Add chicken and cook both sides until brown for 10 minutes.
- Add 1/4 cup water. Reduce heat to low and cover and simmer until chicken is cooked for about 5 minutes. Transfer chicken to a plate and cover and leave aside.
- To make mustard sauce, add minced shallot to the same pan and cook over medium flame for about 3 minutes. Add mustard and vinegar and cook for a minute. Remove from heat and add butter to the pan. Stir the chicken juices to the sauce.
- Toss spinach with half the mustard sauce in a bowl. Place chicken on a serving plate and drizzle with the remaining sauce. Serve spinach on the side before hosting your guests with this amazing dish.
