Sauteed Chicken In Mustard And Herb Sauce Is An Absolute Delight
Sauteed Chicken In Mustard And Herb Sauce is a delicacy which will enchant you with Italian herbs, creamy Dijon mustard, dry white wine and shallots.
Ingredients :-
- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp finely chopped parsley
- Pepper
- Salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp heavy cream
- ¼ cup minced shallots
- ¼ cup dry white wine
Method :-
- Pound the chicken breasts with a meat mallet and season with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium- high flame. Add chicken and cook on both sides until thoroughly cooked. Transfer chicken to a plate and keep warm.
- Reduce the heat to medium flame and add shallot and cook for 1 minute. Then add wine and broth and cook until reduced by half for about 2 minutes. Whisk in mustard and cream and simmer until slightly thickened for about 5 minutes. Stir in parsley and season with salt and pepper.
- Add sauce over chicken and serve with parsley, sliced shallots, and lemon zest.
