Palak Paneer is a popular North Indian dishPalak Paneer for paneer lovers

Restaurant style homemade Palak Paneer is a popular creamy North Indian delicacy cooked in every Indian household served with Naan or Roti.

Ingredients :-

  • 250 gm chopped palak (spinach)
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 250 gm paneer cut into cubes
  • 3 green chillies
  • oil
  • salt
  • water
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp butter/cream

 

Method :-

  • Wash palak (spinach) in warm water for a few minutes and then allow it to cool.
  • Mix palak with garlic and green chillies in a blender to make a paste. Add water if needed.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan and add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and the palak paste and stir until the gravy is thick.
  • Add paneer cubes (washed previously in boiling water and salt to make it soft)
  • Garnish with butter/cream before serving your palak paneer.
