Palak Paneer for paneer lovers
Restaurant style homemade Palak Paneer is a popular creamy North Indian delicacy cooked in every Indian household served with Naan or Roti.
Ingredients :-
- 250 gm chopped palak (spinach)
- 6 garlic cloves
- 250 gm paneer cut into cubes
- 3 green chillies
- oil
- salt
- water
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp butter/cream
Method :-
- Wash palak (spinach) in warm water for a few minutes and then allow it to cool.
- Mix palak with garlic and green chillies in a blender to make a paste. Add water if needed.
- Heat oil in a frying pan and add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and the palak paste and stir until the gravy is thick.
- Add paneer cubes (washed previously in boiling water and salt to make it soft)
- Garnish with butter/cream before serving your palak paneer.
