Miso-Glazed Eggplant Steaks Will Roast You Delightfully
Miso-Glazed Eggplant Steaks is a traditional Japanese nasu dengaku recipe combining tender broiled eggplant slices coated with a savory miso sauce.
Ingredients :-
- 1 pound eggplant
- 2 tbsp canola oil
- 2 tsp white miso
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
- 1 tbsp light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Cooking spray
Method :-
- Heat a grill pan over high flame and coat with cooking spray. Cut the eggplant into 3/4-inch-thick rounds and coat them gently with cooking spray. Grill eggplant slices on both sides until charred and tender for about 10 minutes.
- Whisk canola oil, soy sauce, light brown sugar, white miso and crushed red pepper in a bowl. Add eggplant slices and toss gently. Garnish with chopped fresh coriander and serve immediately.
