Do you feel the warmth with Lettuce Wrapped Chicken?
Lettuce Wrapped Chicken is a healthy alternative to any starter and is prepared by seasoning minced chicken with aromatic sauces.
- 500 gm minced chicken
- 1/2 cup diced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 tsp oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp white distilled vinegar
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1/3 cup chopped spring onions (only greens)
- 1 lettuce leaf (washed in boiling water)
- Season the minced chicken with salt and pepper and marinate for 2 hours.
- Heat oil in a pan and add the chicken and cook until tender over medium heat.
- Add ginger, garlic, onions and mushrooms to the pan and cook for a few minutes.
- Mix soy sauce, white distilled vinegar and sesame oil in a bowl and pour the sauce over the chicken mixture.
- Stack the chicken into the cabbage leaf, sprinkle green onions over it and serve your Lettuce Wrapped Chicken.
