Chicken FrancaiseChicken Francaise – Let’s do American today!

Chicken Française is chicken cutlet wrapped in a fresh lemon sauce. It often tastes better when eaten alone.

Ingredients :-

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 beaten egg
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 6 boneless chicken breasts, halved
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
  • 1 pinch paprika
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • juice of 1 lemon
  •  1 can chicken broth
  • 6 sliced lemons
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley

Method :-

  • In a bowl, mix egg and juice of 1/2 lemon. In another bowl combine the flour, paprika and garlic powder. Dip chicken breasts in egg mixture and then in flour mixture.
  • Heat butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add chicken breasts and cook both sides until golden.
  • In a separate bowl, mix broth and juice of 1 lemon, and pour the mixture over chicken in the pan. Let it simmer over medium flame for 10 minutes.
  • Place on a serving plate and garnish with parsley and fresh lemon slices before serving your Chicken Francaise.
