“Journeys end in lovers meeting”, said an extraordinary man (Can you guess?)

“For some quite inexplicably love fades, for others love is simply lost. But then of course love can also be found even if it’s just for the night and then there’s another kind of love, the cruelest kind, the one that almost kills it’s victims  – the unrequited love”, says the leading lady who behaves like the best friend, concedes screenwriter Arthur.

The mesmerizing Kate Winslet steals the show in The Holiday, a rom-com where Amanda, owner of an American movie trailer advertising company (Cameron Diaz) and Iris, a British journalist (Kate Winslet) decide to exchange homes for Christmas only to realize that they both want a new romance.

The Holiday is one such movie which might urge you to swap careers and take the next flight to the picturesque Surrey.
