Date Pudding Cake is an addiction
Ingredients :-
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup chopped dates
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 cups water
- 5 tbsp butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
Method :-
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Mix sugar, flour, milk, salt, dates, walnuts, vanilla extract and baking powder in a bowl.
- Pour the above batter into a greased baking pan.
- Heat a saucepan and add brown sugar, water and butter and bring to boil. Pour this mixture over the batter.
- Bake at 375 degrees F for 30 minutes until it is cooked.
- Serve the date pudding cake with whipped cream.
Gajar Ka Halwa for your sweet tooth
Ingredients :-
- 1 kg grated carrots
- 1 litre milk
- sugar
- 4 tbsp milkmaid
- 4 tbsp ghee
- 1 1/2 cardamom powder
- 30 raisins
- 3 tbsp crushed almonds
- 3 tbsp crushed cashews
Method :-
- Boil milk in a pan and add carrots and bring it to a boil.
- Add sugar as per taste and simmer for a few minutes.
- Then add milkmaid and cook until dry.
- In a frying pan, add ghee, cooked carrots and stir for a while.
- Add cardamom powder, raisins and garnish with fried (in ghee) almonds and cashews.
- Gajar ka halwa is ready to be served.
Does Rabdi require an introduction?
Ingredients :-
- 1 litre full fat milk
- 1 cup crushed almonds and pistachios
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 7-8 saffron strands
Method:-
- Heat milk on low flame till it becomes half of its volume and begins to form a layer of cream on top.
- Add sugar and cardamom powder as is required.
- Garnish with grounded almonds, pistachios and saffron.
- Serve chilled rabdi.
Caramel Bread Pudding – Will it be your next dessert?
Ingredients :-
- 3 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
- 2 croissants
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 cup half-and-half
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 chopped caramel candies
- 1/4 tsp sugar for garnishing
Method:-
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly butter 2 ovenproof tea or coffee cups.
- Crumble 1/2 cup of croissant pieces into smaller pieces and toss them with melted butter in a small bowl and leave it aside.
- Whisk the egg with 2 tablespoons of sugar in a bowl until the sugar is dissolved. Add half-and-half and vanilla. and stir the remaining croissant pieces and the caramels, and let the mixture sit for about 15 minutes.
- Divide the soaked bread mixture between the two cups. Top each with half the buttered croissant pieces, and sprinkle the remaining sugar. Bake the bread pudding for 30 minutes.
- Let it cool for a while and then serve Caramel Bread Pudding.
My heart skips a beat for the delicious Date Pudding
Ingredients :-
- 3/4 cup chopped dates
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 6 tbsp sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp milk
- salt
- 1 tbsp butter
- whipped cream
Method :-
- Mix dates, walnuts and sugar in a bowl and leave aside.
- In a second bowl, beat egg, milk and vanilla.
- Mix the ingredients in the above two bowls.
- Combine flour, baking powder and salt and mix it with the above mixture.
- Pour the above mixture into a butter greased baking dish and bake at 325° F for 30 minutes until it is cooked.
- Serve your date pudding with whipped cream.
Fruit Crepe is Recipe Of The Day
Ingredients :-
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tbsp butter
- Sliced fruits (apple, banana, strawberry, blueberry) for garnishing
- Powdered sugar for garnishing
Method :-
- Whisk flour with eggs, sugar, salt and milk in a bowl.
- Melt butter over medium flame in a frying pan and add the batter to roll out the crepes.
- Make sure you cook both sides before serving them with sliced fruits and powdered sugar.
- Your Fruit Crepe is ready.
This beautiful wonder – Crepe Cake
Ingredients :-
- 4 large eggs
- 3 and half cups milk
- 1/3 cup oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 bananas
- 1 and 1/4 cups heavy cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1/2tsp unsalted butter
- 10 sliced strawberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups flour
Method :-
- Add eggs, milk, bananas, sugar, salt, oil, vanilla extract and flour in a blender and blend it until it forms a smooth batter.
- Melt butter in a non-stick frying pan over medium flame. Pour 1/4 cup of batter until the entire pan is covered. Cook until the crepe turns golden brown. Repeat the process with the remaining crepe batter.
- Blend strawberries in a blender until the puree is smooth. Pour the strawberry puree through a sieve into a bowl and refrigerate it for 15 – 20 minutes.
- Whisk cream in a bowl until thickened. Then add powdered sugar and continue whisking. Mix the strawberry puree with the blended cream.
- Place a bit of strawberry cream on a serving plate and add the first crepe and the whipped cream in between. Stack the crepes on top of each other with strawberry whipped cream between each layer and spread the rest of the cream on top of the last crepe.
- Arrange slices of strawberry on top for garnishing. Slice the cake and serve.
You can’t miss this Chocolate Cake
Ingredients :-
- 2 cups all purpose flour (maida)
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp chocolate essence
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup butter
- 3 tbsp chopped almonds
- 4 tbsp cocoa powder
- water
Method :-
- Mix flour, 2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup butter and baking powder in a bowl. Make a hole in the centre and add the eggs, chocolate essence and chopped almonds and blend it well.
- Mix 2 tbsp cocoa powder with 1/2 cup water and add the solution to the above batter.
- Bake for 7 minutes in a 800W microwave.
- Combine 2 tbsp cocoa powder, remaining butter, 1 cup sugar and water and beat until smooth. Spread on the chocolate cake.
Chocolate Pudding Cake for your special someone
Ingredients :-
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 1/4 cup hot water
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp oil
Method :-
- Preheat oven to 175 degrees C.
- In a baking tray, mix flour, white sugar, baking powder, 1/4 cup of cocoa powder and salt. Then add milk and oil and stir thoroughly. Sprinkle brown sugar, remaining cocoa powder and chocolate chips over the mixture.
- Add vanilla to hot water and pour it over the top of the mixture.
- Bake for half an hour or more in the preheated oven until cooked.
- Serve your chocolate pudding cake.
Eat Vanilla Sponge Cake with a grin
Ingredients :-
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 cup refined flour (maida)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
Method :-
- Sieve refined flour and baking powder together and keep aside.
- Mix butter and sugar thoroughly in a bowl. Then add the eggs and stir.
- Add flour, baking powder and milk to the above mixture and mix well.
- Add vanilla essence and blend well before pouring the mixture into a microwave safe bowl.
- Bake for 8 minutes in a 540W microwave.
- Cool and then serve your vanilla sponge cake.
Coriander Chutney for any occasion
Ingredients :-
- 200 gm coriander leaves
- tamarind
- 3 green chillies
- salt
- 1 tbsp jaggery
- water
- 2-3 drops mustard oil
Method :-
- Cut the edges of coriander leaves and wash them thoroughly.
- Mix tamarind with water to extract the pulp.
- Blend coriander leaves, tamarind pulp, jaggery, salt and green chillies in a blender until smooth. Add water if required.
- Garnish with mustard oil before serving your coriander chutney.
Hot Fudge Pudding Cake will compliment the meal
Ingredients :-
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 3/4 cup hot water
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
Method :-
- Preheat oven to 175 degrees C. Grease and flour a baking tray.
- Mix flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cocoa in a bowl. Add milk and melted butter and stir thoroughly. Pour into the greased baking tray.
- Mix brown sugar and cocoa in a separate bowl. Spread over the top of the batter in the tray. Pour hot water over the entire tray of batter.
- Bake for 45 minutes in the preheated oven until cooked.
Cinnamon Pudding Cake for brunch may be
Ingredients :-
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 3 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 3/4 cup chopped and peeled apples
Method :-
- Preheat oven to 175 degrees C. Grease a baking tray.
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon in a bowl. Make a hole in the centre and pour the milk. Mix thoroughly and pour the mixture into the greased baking tray.
- Mix brown sugar, water and butter in a saucepan and bring it to boil. Pour this mixture over the batter in the tray. Spread walnuts and chopped apples.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes until cooked.
Chocolate Mug Cake in your favorite mug
Ingredients :-
- 75 gm melted dark chocolate
- 60 gm melted butter
- 2 beaten eggs
- 50 gm granulated sugar
- 50 gm refined flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 50 gm chopped canned cherries from a can, chopped,
- 2 tbsp canned cherry juice
Method :-
- Mix chocolate, butter, eggs and sugar in a bowl.
- Add flour, baking powder, cherries and cherry juice and mix until smooth.
- Grease two coffee mugs (microwave safe) with butter and pour the mixture into each.
- Microwave it for 2 or more minutes until cooked.
- Garnish with cherries and sprinkle melted chocolate before serving.
- Your chocolate mug cake is ready to be served.
Make Rice Kheer with milk and rice
Ingredients :-
- 1 litre milk
- 1/3 cup rice
- 8 – 10 raisins
- 4 – 5 crushed almonds
- 6-8 crushed cashews
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
- 2 bay leaves
- 4 tbsp sugar
Method :-
- Wash rice and then soak in water for 15 minutes.
- Boil milk and then add the drained rice and bay leaves. Cook in medium flame for a few minutes.
- Add sugar after the rice is thoroughly cooked.
- Add raisins and cashews and cook until the mixture thickens.
- Add cardamom powder and mix well. Garnish with crushed almonds and serve your rice kheer.
Apple Chutney – The side dish you can’t avoid
Ingredients :-
- 4 apples
- 15 raisins
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- salt
- sugar
- water
- 1 pinch red chilli powder
Method :-
- Peel the apples to remove the skin. Grate them and keep aside.
- Add water and grated apple and bring it to boil. Then add the raisins, salt and sugar as required.
- Add chilli powder and stir occasionally.
- Add lemon juice before serving the apple chutney.
Apple Pie done the right way
Ingredients :-
- 2 ½ cups all purpose flour for dough
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 6 peeled and sliced apples
- 1 cup butter
Method :-
- Mix flour, salt, butter and water to form a dough. Knead the dough and divide into two parts and flatten both.
- Preheat oven to 220 degrees C.
- Melt the butter in a pan and add flour, water, white sugar and brown sugar and simmer for a while.
- Place one of the rounded doughs in a pan and add apples and cinnamon. Then cover with the other half. Pour the above sugar batter over the crust gently.
- Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Lower the temperature to 175 degrees C and bake for another 45 minutes until apples are soft.
- Apple Pie is ready.
Pineapple Cake for your birthday
Ingredients :-
- 2 cups all purpose flour (maida)
- 3 and half cups powdered sugar
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 can crushed pineapple with juice
- 1 package cream cheese
Method :-
- Mix flour, 2 cups sugar and baking soda in a bowl. Make a hole in the centre and add the eggs, 1 tsp vanilla extract and canned pineapple with juice and blend it well.
- Bake for 5 minutes in a 800W microwave.
- Combine cream cheese, butter, 1 and a half cup sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla and beat until smooth. Spread on the pineapple cake.
Chocolate Mug will delight you thoroughly
Ingredients :-
- 1 cup chocolate bar
- 1/2 cup mango
- 1/2 cup grapes
- 1 apple
- 2 kiwi
- 1/2 cup pineapple
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1 coffee cup
Method :-
- Warm chocolate in a microwave for 15 seconds till it melts.
- Pour chocolate in a coffee cup and evenly spread it before refrigerating for about 20 minutes.
- Cut the apple, grapes, pineapple, mango and kiwi into small cubes.
- Fill a piping bag with whipped cream and seal it.
- Add the whipped cream in the coffee cup and garnish with fruits.
- Chocolate Delight is ready to be served.
Is Badam Kheer The Way To Your Heart?
Ingredients :-
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1 litre full cream milk
- 10 strands of saffrron
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
- Crushed cashews as required
- Crushed pistachios as required
- Crushed almonds as required
- Sugar as required
Method :-
- Soak the almonds in water overnight.
- Remove the skin and grind with little water to make a paste.
- Boil milk in a pan.
- Add saffron and simmer on low flame till it becomes half while stirring occasionally.
- Add cardamom powder, almond paste, sugar and simmer for a few minutes.
- Garnish with saffron strands, crushed cashews, crushed pistachios and crushed almonds.
- Badam Kheer is ready to be served.
