Get confused with Pineapple Prawns
A reasonably great way to mix pineapple with prawns is to have them stir-fried with colorful bell peppers, parsley, vinegar, etc
Ingredients :-
- 1 kg prawns
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- Oil
- 1 tsp pepper powder
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp chopped parsley
- 1/2 cup pineapple cubes
- 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 2 tbsp chopped yellow bell pepper
- 3/4 cup white distilled vinegar
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- Sliced lemons
Method :-
- Add red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, garlic, salt, pineapples and vinegar in a saucepan and cook for a while and keep aside.
- Mix flour, cornstarch, paprika, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper in a bowl and leave aside.
- Whisk eggs in a bowl and mix with parsley, remaining salt and pepper.
- Dip the prawns in egg batter, then in flour mixture and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium flame and fry the prawns until golden brown.
- Drain the fried prawns on paper napkins.
- Place the prawns on a serving plate, garnish with parsley and serve with sliced lemons and the pineapple mixture.
- Pineapple Prawns is ready to be eaten. You can serve inside a pineapple boat just in case you want to make it more appealing.
