Pecan-Crusted Chicken Breast Is A Great Entertainer
Pecan-Crusted Chicken Breast is a crunchy recipe made with breadcrumbs and pecans and is full of good flavors.
Ingredients :-
- ¾ cup buttermilk
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried herbs
- Salt and pepper
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
Method :-
- Gently mix buttermilk with garlic powder, onion powder, dried herbs, salt, and pepper in a bowl to make a smooth buttermilk marinade.
- Slice the chicken breasts lengthwise into two halves and then place them into the buttermilk marinade ensuring each fillet is well-coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least an hour or overnight.
- Remove the chicken from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature. Mix the chopped pecans and breadcrumbs together in a bowl along with salt and pepper.
- Remove excess marinade from the chicken breasts and then coat them with the pecan mixture on both sides.
- Gently place the coated chicken breasts on a baking tray and bake for about half an hour until the chicken is tender and cooked. Serve the pecan-crusted chicken hot.
