Mutton Malai is a great Mughlai dish and tastes awesome

Surprise yourself with Mutton Malai

Mutton Malai recipe is a delicacy you will cherish while cooking as well as eating pleasuring the exquisite flavors of Indian spices.

Ingredients :-

  • 1 kg boneless mutton cubes
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • salt
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/2 cup thick curd
  • 3 tbsp thick cream
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg powder
  • 1/2 tsp green cardamom powder
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 finely sliced onions
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped coriander leaves

 

Method :-

  • Add lemon juice and salt to boneless mutton cubes and leave it aside for 2 hours.
  • To the mutton cubes, add ginger paste, garlic paste, thick curd, thick cream, nutmeg powder, green cardamom powder and marinate overnight.
  • Heat oil  in a pan and add cumin seeds.
  • Add the marinated mutton and simmer until it softens.
  • Add the finely sliced onions, garam masala and finely chopped coriander leaves.
  • Cook for 15-20 minutes on medium flame.
  • Mutton Malai is ready to be served.
