Keema samosa will win your heart
This mouth-watering keema samosa is the perfect snack made with with spiced keema and onions. and then fried until crispy and golden.
Ingredients :-
- 2 cups refined flour
- 3 tbsp oil
- salt
- 250 gm minced mutton (keema)
- 2 finely chopped medium sized onions
- 1 tsp finely chopped ginger
- 4-5 finely chopped garlic
- 2 finely chopped green chillies
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1/2 cup green peas
- 1/3 cup chopped coriander
Method:-
- Take refined flour, oil and salt as required in a bowl and knead it to make a dough. Keep covered with a damp cloth for half an hour.
- Heat oil in a pan and add onions and sauté on medium flame for a few minutes. Add chopped ginger, garlic and green chillies and continue to sauté for a while.
- Add minced mutton, salt, red chilli powder and turmeric powder and cook. Sprinkle a little water and cover and cook on low heat until the mutton is cooked. Add garam masala powder, green peas, chopped coriander and leave the stuffing aside to cool.
- For the samosas, take a small portion of the dough and roll into oval shapes. Cut them into half and shape in the form of a cone. Fill with the stuffing and seal the edges. Refrigerate for about half an hour.
- Heat sufficient oil in a frying pan and fry the samosas till they are crisp and golden. Place them on paper napkins to absorb extra oil.
- Serve Keema samosa hot with coriander/mint chutney or tomato ketchup.
