Dragon Chicken Is Every Chinese Lovers Delight

Dragon Chicken is a popular and delicious Indo-Chinese recipe combining crispy fried chicken strips coated with spicy aromatic flavorful sauces, the dragon sauce being the star. It is a great appetizer to start your dinner with.

Ingredients :-

  • 500 gm boneless chicken
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/4 cup broken cashew nuts
  • 1 tbsp chopped ginger
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 3 tbsp chili flakes
  • 1/2 capsicum
  • 3 tbsp chili sauce
  • 4 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Spring Onions (just the greens)

 

Method :-

  • Add 2 tbsp soy sauce, salt, pepper, eggs & corn flour to the boneless chicken and marinate for an hour.
  • Deep fry the marinated chicken in oil until golden brown.
  • Saute cashews, chili flakes, ginger, onions, garlic and capsicum.
  • Add soy sauce, chili sauce & tomato ketchup, sugar and salt and mix well.
  • Cook by adding little water and corn flour slurry.
  • Add the fried chicken and garnish with spring onions.
  • ServeĀ  hot.
