Creamy Mushroom & Spinach Pasta Is A Quintessential Comfort Food
Creamy Mushroom & Spinach Pasta is a healthy and gooey comfort food which will delight your guests at any given time of the day.
Ingredients :-
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 1 cup baby mushrooms, cut into halves
- 1 cup tagliatelle
- 2 crushed garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 cup crème fraîche
- 1 and 1/2 tbsp grated parmesan
- 1 cup baby spinach
- ½ tsp chilli flakes
- salt
- black pepper
Method :-
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium flame and fry the onion and mushrooms until golden brown. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
- Add the garlic to the pan with the mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes. Add crème fraîche and parmesan and stir before adding the baby spinach. Leave it aside.
- Remove the pasta from the heat and drain, while reserving half of the pasta water. Toss the pasta in the creamy mushroom sauce and cook over low flame until the spinach softens. Pour the reserved water. Season with black pepper and chilli flakes.
