Creamy Chicken Lasagna is your best go to dinner Creamy Chicken Lasagna Is A Good Conversation Starter

Creamy Chicken Lasagna is a classic recipe made with an easy meat sauce, noodles and cheese until mildly baked.

Ingredients :-

  • 10 lasagna noodles
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan
  • 1 fresh lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • Freshly grounded black pepper powder
  • 3 cups tomato sauce
  • 2 cups cooked chicken
  • 2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
  • Olive oil for coating baking dish

 

Method :-

  • Preheat oven to 375°. Lightly coat a baking dish with olive oil and keep aside.
  • Cook lasagna noodles until al dente. Rinse under cold water until cool and lay the cooked pasta flat and leave aside.
  • Mix the ricotta cheese, egg, parmesan, lemon zest, salt and pepper in a bowl and keep aside.
  • Spread a light layer of tomato sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. Lay 3 to 4 lasagna noodles lengthwise over the sauce.
  • Layer 1/3 of the remaining tomato sauce over the lasagna noodles and then layer 1/2 of the ricotta mixture. Layer 1/2 of the chicken over the ricotta and then spread 1/3of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat this process and then add a final layer of lasagna noodles, and then add the remaining tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake lasagna for approx. 45 minutes or until the top cheese is melted and golden.
  • Remove from oven and then allow it to cool for about 15 minutes before serving.
