Cheesy Ground Chicken Pasta Is Good To Go

Cheesy Ground Chicken Pasta is a classic combination of minced chicken, cream and cheese served with a side salad and white wine.

Ingredients :-

  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup chopped fresh basil
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cup fresh baby spinach
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 2 cups unsalted chicken broth
  • 3 cups penne
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup halved grape tomatoes
  • 1 cup chopped red onion
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

 

Method :-

  • Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan and add chicken. Cook for 10 minutes until it turns brown. Add onion, tomatoes, Italian seasoning and salt and cook for 5 minutes until the onions and tomatoes are softened.
  • Stir in pasta, broth, marinara and cream and bring to a simmer over medium flame. Cover and simmer until the pasta is al dente for 15 minutes. Mix spinach, basil and mozzarella and cover and cook until the spinach wilts and the cheese melts for about 2 minutes. Garnish with basil and parmesan and serve hot.
