Nigella Lawson’s Cook, Eat, Repeat
Personally, I have been following Nigella Lawson’s recipes for a while now and have been left wanting for more ever since. With 50 new recipes featured in her next cookbook Cook, Eat, Repeat, a much anticipated new offering from Nigella Lawson, and you can pre-order it here on Amazon.
Cook, Eat, Repeat is more than just a recipe book. She has penned personal stories for the book. Just as her writing is as interesting as her recipes are, there’s no doubt her followers will savor every page of this cook book.
She wrote about her new book in detail on Nigella.com, “Subtitled ‘Ingredients, recipes and stories’ (and yes, I know that lovers of the Oxford comma might be a little perturbed here), it’s a book that’s very close to my heart. It focuses on the rhymes and rituals of the kitchen, most particularly my kitchen, and intertwines recipes with narrative essays about food and stories from a cooking life.”
She also gave us a sneak peak into the chapters : “Just to give you a taster, chapters include A is for Anchovy (a celebration of the bacon of the sea), Beetroot and Me, How to Invite People for Dinner without Hating Them (or Yourself), incorporating A Vegan Feast, a loving defence of Brown Food, and plenty of new ideas for Christmas.”
Here’s a collection of recipes that you could expect in her upcoming cookbook : “Burnt Onion and Aubergine Dip, Wide Noodles with Lamb Shank in Aromatic Broth, Brown Butter Colcannon, Spaghetti with Chard.” The dessert lovers can look forward to “Rhubarb and Custard Trifle, Rice Pudding Cake, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake and Cherry and Almond Crumble”.
